Wednesday, March 4, 2015, 5:20:52 AM- The straw that finally broke the Van Pools back.
I am a patient and kind woman. My smile wakes me up and puts me to sleep. This is why I am able to deal with life and the many personalities around me. After all, I was raised with 9 sisters and 2 brothers.

Since the very first day in the van pool I have been patient with:
**No one wanting the heater on during 25 degree weather.
**The late pee pee trips when we are supposed to be leaving the department and going home.
**I begin my day listening to 5 women constantly yammering and cackling as they talk about all of their other co-workers in their building. Two of those women are supervisors.
**I end my day ^^^the same way. Constant cackling.
**A passive aggressive driver who waits until I get warm and then pretends to roll down the window so she can throw out imaginary gum. -rolls eyes-
**Total negativity and no one is ever happy with work or their lives.
**Sick people who do not care that others are enclosed with them making the van a traveling petri dish.

I'm not kidding! How do you think I got sick? By the time I realized one was sick, I had already inhaled her freaking contaminated wet germs. Now, a little over 2 weeks ago, I jump in the van and settle in. About 10 minutes into the drive the woman behind me coughs on my neck and does it repeatedly. I ask nicely "You wouldn't happen to be sick, would you"? The driver says "Oh Cristi has been a bear coughing up a storm for the last half hour. We can't even hear the radio"
WTF? I jumped into a flem van and she didn't have the respect to wear a mask or stay home? No. So two incubation weeks later and tons of Vitamin C to combat her traveling germs, I come down with a sinus infection bronchitis and the flu. Thank you so much you ungrateful weenie. I'm still weak from it and on the mend, but no longer contagious. I had the care and concern for others and stayed home.

But I endured and turned the other cheek. sarcasm alert>>> Don't kill them I kept whispering to myself...lol. They have families and people would miss them.........hahahaha.

Today the proverbial camels back was broken. Two women climbed into the van ahead of me. I get in and immediately step on my blanket. The very blanket that was folded and left in my seat the last time I rode in it 6 days ago. I picked it up and one of the women ask me if that was my blanket and I said yes. She then tells me that it would be a good idea to take it home because it kind of smells. (bite your lip I say and don't punch her in the throat...<<more sarcasm) So I say (in a kind voice) "Of course it smells now, it was on the floor and by the way who used it?" She says that no one used it. My response "Uh huh, Well, I didn't buy a blanket with legs, so obviously someone did use it because it's a long way from here to my seat" She didn't say one word and neither did anyone else. I kept my cool and basically let them know by my sarcasm that she or they lied and used my blanket.

Disrespect of other peoples things is low. Disrespecting someones health and welfare is appalling.

But I endured and kept my kindness towards all of them and did not tell them off. It would have been futile. You can have words with some adults and a light would go off. But this particular group of adults do not care and they are not worth my breath. So smile I say, smile and move along. It doesn't matter to me if I have to rent a car to get into work until my new car is picked up. It would be worth it. I am too good of a person to be subjected to such things. Besides, they don't fit my cheerful disposition.

Tuesday, March 3, 2015, 5:02:08 AM- The Day of my Birth and the gift to myself.
The Day of my birth always has me reflecting on how far I have come in my years. I have shed tons of tears, grinned millions of smiles, laughed a universe full of giggles, drifted on an endless amount of clouds and have given enough love to fill the hearts of my family and friends. All of the above will continue until I pass on.

As my previous blogs have shown, I do not call this a birthday. I call it the day of my birth. I do not remember that very moment nor do I recall the first couple of years after. I do, however remember what happened during my 5th year. My Uncle Ronald picked me up, threw me in the air and then proceeded to not catch me and accidentally dropped me. Yes, it hurt. But they plied me with cake and all was well. Ever since my 5th year, I have remembered each and every day of my birth. How could I not? I am grateful that I am given another year.

The Day of my birth has passed. How did I spend it? The weekend before that day, I spent it getting spoiled by my sons and their Dad (my ex). As the Queen of these three men I was told to not lift a finger and they would wait on me hand and foot. I do so love that. All three of them know their way around a kitchen, so the meals were outstanding! I was taken out to dinner a few times to my favs and man! Did I fill up. The world was mine! (and still is to tell you the truth)

The actual day of my birth was spent in bed with a 102 fever. I spent 5 days coughing up a storm with chills, fever and body aches. It wasn't a pretty picture....lol. But I survived and took care of myself very well.
What didn't happen was getting the gift I had planned for myself. But it's all good. It's waiting for me on the lot. A lot you ask? Yes, a car lot! I am buying myself a new car. My life with all of its ups and downs has been good to me. I deserve to spoil myself and will take what I have provided for myself and get what is needed and wanted. This Day of my Birth will be one to remember for many many many years to come. And I didn't have to be dropped on my head to remember it....tee hee hee.

From celebrating with the men in my life and laughing, to aching and hurling, to a new car and smiling again in good health. We can never know what will happen. As my own Dad always told me "Your days are waiting for you. Go see what's around the corner" I peeked around the corner, Dad. And I saw a new car.

Tuesday, March 3, 2015, 5:01:35 AM- Yes, I did delete it.
I made my point and it was done.
Anyone who knows me that I do not like negativity to remain in my blog. It spoils the karma.
Now on with the smiles, laughter and sexy pervs.

Tuesday, February 24, 2015, 7:52:33 AM- Why not help Mr. NN out a bit.
NN posted a question in General Discussion.
New Features....What do you want?

It is meant to be a suggestion thread. Now I know that there are a great deal of members who do not like to venture into the Forum and I do not blame them. It can get brutal. At times an opinion or two can be ridiculed or mocked and then the entire point of the thread goes off the deep end. Much like the NN thread...lol Then what do you have left? Your comment being made fun of and no way to delete it.

Me? I am genuinely happy here on NN. Ever since the successful campaign to change the Front Page, I am like a sow rolling around in mud and hay. Seeeeeeeewwwwwwwweeeeeeeeeee!

From time to time, I may write that small things could change, like:
*Web Trash Control.
*Why Non Nude when we have lingerie and a jeans section? Why do we need FB pics on a nude site? Isn't that the reason Allombo was created?
*Allowing web trash posters to remain, even if they do pay for premium? I still stand by my opinion of the 3 strikes rule. They read the rules, so why let them stay?
But these are all just annoyances and not meant to get NN to change. We all have an annoyance here and there.

Now, on to why I wrote this blog. Help NN out and post below what your suggestion would be. This blog is for the members who do not want to venture into the forum. You can feel free to post here because anyone making fun of, ridiculing or calling your suggestion dumb, will be deleted. This is a ridicule free zone. This blog will be monitored for hate or anger by me and Guitartxn.

NN has made a legitimate plea and I think that it would be nice if his question was answered by those who are active on the site. Well, here is your chance to let NN know if you have a suggestion for the site.

Wednesday, February 11, 2015, 4:41:59 AM- You can teach an old dog new tricks.
Well, I left yesterday for training. I am learning the latest and greatest interrogation techniques. Every few years a professor comes up with ways that are supposed to enhance law enforcement tactics. My oh my have things changed! It's a shame to discover that phone books, fish hooks and rubber hoses aren't used for interrogation anymore...lol.

So in honour of my training course. I bring you some giggles.

It's the new and improved, kinder and gentler way of interrogations. Instead of making them sweat, cookies and milk are offered....lol.

Saturday, February 7, 2015, 6:31:47 AM- Blog Challenge "Walk NN My Shoes"
Each and everyday Men and Women debate on which gender has it the hardest. It's a battle that has been raging since the dawn of time.
It all started when Adam started to complain that his leaf was itching. Eve replied with "At least you don't have to wear three of them"
Let's face it, both sexes have their ups and downs. Yes, men cannot have babies and that is basically the only area that can actually give women the win in the battle of the sexes.
But I digress. Let's put ourselves in each others shoes and make fun or rib one another on the things we think are easy or appear to be nothing to squawk at.

I have no clue what it feels like to shave my face, but men don't know what it feels like to shave their legs.
Do men know what it feels like to wear a tight bra?
Do women know what it feels like to wear a sports cup?
Do men know what it feels like to get their eyebrows plucked
Do women know what it feels like to suffer from a morning boner?
Men, How do you think women feel during menopause?
Women, How you do think men would look going through manopause?

Let's take a walk in each others shoes.

This is a chance to make fun of one another, so the sky is the limit. It's time to walk in each others shoes.

Rules:
*NO PHOTO SHOPPING
*NO USING OLD PHOTOS.
*YOU CAN use photo shop for words or titles.
*YOU CAN use another members pics in yours, but you need permission.
*Take 1 to 4 pics making fun of each gender.
*You have 9 to 10 days to get ready. This means you have one week from this Monday. I will send out reminders, so no worries.
*When the time comes, you will post the other players names at the end of your blog.

I wonder? Which man will be brave enough to wear a pair of pantyhose and which woman will be brave enough to portray the prostate exam?.....lol.

Are you brave enough to play? All are invited. All you need it a funny bone and the desire to put yourself out there.
Sign up below for the antics.

Thursday, February 5, 2015, 4:59:14 AM- I do have a sense of humour about my chosen career.
For years I have been sent numerous gifs, jokes, riddles and stories about police officers. I don't mind. Every profession can be made fun of and this one has tons to work with. I love it when a movie or series parodies the things that police departments do or say in the course of their duties. Sister M sent me a few and I decided to look up a few of my own. For years Sister M made fun of me because I wouldn't help my Mother get out of the drunk tank when she was arrested....lol. So, I am used to the ribbing.

A few oldies but goodies. Some new and even funnier.

Leslie Nielson was one of my favorite comedic actors and this was one funny show that laid the groundwork for many other parodies.

It's been said that officers will beat anything...lol. Could it be true?....hahha Reno 911. One of the best parody cop shows.

Love Sarah's humour, but contrary to belief, the majority do have degrees.

Yes, I love me some McLovin!

Could this happen? Maybe. I have been sworn to secrecy..lol

This one is special for Mark of MarkandLacey. Luv ya!

Any favorite shows of yours that make fun of the police?

Monday, February 2, 2015, 6:48:40 AM- Finding time.....or not.
I received an interesting call. I have been asked if I want to volunteer to assist with the victims of catastrophic crimes. This means assisting victims and family members of the victims of murder or deaths from accidents. This is an on-call position after my regular duty hours. My time volunteering goes back to when I was in high school. So it's not like I am not used to it. Plus it is an honour to be asked.

I am already looking around in order to donate some time to a local shelter for kids or some time with an abused woman's home. The times for these volunteer positions are every other weekend and on my time. When I transferred closer to my sons, it was to be with them more. I need to keep that promise to them.

Another reason is the position I am in now takes up a great deal of my time. I still have on going training, an academy coming up and an Interrogation Course to pass. After all of those academies are complete, I will be thrown into the pits...hahaha. So again, my time is already limited and taking a spot on a Crisis Unit would be a lot to put on my plate. I don't know if you have noticed, but my blog reading has fallen behind and so has my ability to answer messages...lol. I know NN doesn't come first...*giggles* but it does give me a great deal of levity during the times I am home and relaxing.

I know that I want to take it, but I can't unless I clone myself.

"Keep up the good work... I feel your pain with the call-out status. I had the pleasure of that for about 14 years. Funny, I constantly complained about the disruption to my personal, however, I wouldn't have turned down a call-out for anything. There was just something really inspiring about using your talents and skills in helping to solve someone's 'worst and last' day."
